Delta Air Lines gives $1M to the Center
The Center advanced a million steps closer to groundbreaking today when Delta Air Lines announced their generous commitment to our work. This $1 million investment adds Delta to the list of visionary corporate citizens working to ensure the National Center for Civil and Human Rights is built in Atlanta as soon as possible. Beginning construction late next year, in spite of the difficult economy, becomes more attainable with each gift and there is renewed momentum in our favor. We’re thrilled for the support and applaud Delta for seeing the importance of creating a cultural institution dedicated to historical and contemporary human rights issues.
