  • Center partners with BronzeLens Film Festival

The BronzeLens Film Festival, a nonprofit organization founded in 2009, is dedicated to promoting Atlanta as the new film hub for people of color; and to showcase films and provide networking opportunities that will develop the next generation of filmmakers.  Their festival begins tomorrow, November 11 and runs through the weekend.

The Center is partnering with BronzeLens to present the Sunday, November 14 portion called Cinema and Social Justice Sunday, at Spelman College's Cosby Auditorium.  The day features social justice films, a panel discussion, access to the "Equally Yoked" exhibition at the Spelman Museum and a reception.  Thursday-Saturday film festival events require registration and ticket purchase, but Sunday is free and open to the public.  I hope you can make it out to support this important organization and event for our community.
